The Hospice Patron HRH Princess Beatrice reading to one of the children at the hospice.

Our royal patron

What better way to spread even more magic to the courageous families we support than by having a real princess as our patron.

We're delighted and honoured to have HRH Princess Beatrice as patron of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.

"We really need to think of a new word for hospice, as this is so much more than that; it is a magical place, it's a family, and I’m delighted to be a part of that family.”
HRH Princess Beatrice, December 2016

What does a patron do?

Princess Beatrice has been involved with us since she officially opened  Russell House in 2012. She's visited the hospice several times since, and she gets regular updates from us. She also gets cards and paintings from the children, which she will often stick to her refrigerator!

She is a superb ambassador for us, because she's absolutely committed to what we do. Having her support means we can tell our stories to a much wider audience - which is vital for helping us reach even more children and families who need us.
